Ping K15 Hybrid at golfsaleshop.com

Ping has launched a new hybrid. It's a set that is designed with traditional mid/short irons. Many golfers hit their hybrids further than their long irons which will add to the appeal of this new set of clubs. On top of this, the distance gap between each club is more optimised and distinct so each club in the iron set is utilised properly, making for a more efficient set.

The Ping K15 hybrid is designed to get the ball into the air easier with less spin for greater distance. In addition, the K15s also feature an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI) due to the large internal toe weight pad for superior forgiveness so even mis-hits travel further.

The Ping K15 hybrids look very similar to the Ping G15 hybrids, but closer inspection reveals that the heads are a little shallower and deeper front to back. The promotes a deeper centre of gravity and combined with a little more offset in the hosel, mean that they are much easier to get up in the air and therefore go a little higher than the G15 version.

The Ping K15 hybrids (golf clubs for sale) share design principles with the award winning G15 hybrid and feature a patent pending technology that exactly positions the centre of gravity relative to the hosel axis and club face. This makes it even easier for golfers to get the ball into the air while reducing the spin for even more distance. A large internal toe weight provides a high MOI that offers supreme forgiveness on miss-hits.

To be honest, I really like this style of hybrid as it looks and behaves more like an iron and therefore the 5 and 6 iron replacements are very playable indeed and it does not feel like you are launching a wood hybrid past your nose. The feel at impact is very good and the different shape of head gives a great zing sound at impact. Used either as standalone hybrids or as part of the K15 irons set then these are excellent clubs for the higher handicapper.
