Reviews: Odyssey White Ice Mini T Putter

Odyssey's White Ice Mini-T Putter is one of the most forgiving putters on the market. For the golfer whose wedge shot is mediocre, this putter can life your shot and increase your chances of hitting the hole. Here are the details of the review.

The Odyssey White Ice Mini T Putter makes the technique of straight back and straight through a cinch. A golfer may be hard pressed to find a substitute for a putter that is better balanced than this one. It can help balance your swing technique, even if you have a hybrid technique that fuses the pendulum and arc stroke.

The forgiveness of the Odyssey White Ice Mini-T Putter excels in this category. The current market is pressed to keep up with this level of forgiveness. The fact that there is good balance, distance control and feel makes this a sure favorite.

Distance control becomes an easy feat with the Odyssey White Ice Mini-T Putter. The insert is firm and is audibly and mechanically engineered to create distance after your shot. You can hear the difference when you're shot is square and lined right. There's a ping that lets you know you nailed it. Today's golf balls seem to be softer so it is easy to recalibrate any stroke if you have to switch the type of green you're playing on. You want your putter to maintain a good balanced place during the entire stroke. This putter meets the mark.

Overall, the quality of the Odyssey White Ice Mini-T Putter (golf clubs for sale) is impeccable. It's really is a great putter than helps corrects flaws in strokes and add to distance without a lot of effort. The balance and forgiveness and distance aspects make for a great combined effort on the part of Odyssey. Not only will this putter find a great place in your bag, but you'll be impressed from the very first time you use it.

Titleist AP1 712 Irons vs AP2 712 Irons

Titleist has long used “700’’ numbers for irons for a long time. It uses 900 numbers for metal woods. The “7” stands for irons, while the “12” stands for the new model year, 2012. Acushnet says the feedback it receives during this validation process influences the design and specifications of the Titleist products available in golf shops around the world.

The new AP1 and AP2 irons (golf clubs for sale) deliver an industry leading combination of performance, looks and feel. They feature our most advanced multi-material designs which deliver superior distance control through increased moment-of-inertia (MOI) which also provides outstanding solid feel. In addition we have made appearance improvements to both sets.

Building upon the high technology design and resounding success of the original AP irons, Titleist AP1 712 Irons introduces the new high performance AP1 irons for avid golfers. The Titleist AP1 are multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights.

The concept for the original Advanced Performance irons arose as a result of research that indicated serious golfers want performance with great feel, not performance at the expense of feel. The Titleist R&D team’s advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in irons.

This research led to combining several technologies and materials in the back cavity of the new AP irons resulting in a new Tuned Feel System to take feel to a new level. The new Tuned Feel System is a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer and aluminum plate. This insert has been specifically designed to improve the sound and feel of each new iron. For the thinner face, larger cavity AP1 a hotter, more lively feel has been enhanced.

The New Titleist 712 AP2 Irons are more forgiving and more disctance control. It gives the AP2 player more consistent ball speed over a larger area of the face.

The new titleist AP2 irons 712, which are designed for low handicappers,Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads. The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design.

Highly Review of Cleveland CG16 Wedge

Compared to the excellent CG15 wedge the leading edge is less rounded and the sole is wider. Cleveland say that this Cleveland CG16 Wedge is very popular on Tour, especially in the sand iron lofts.

The Cleveland CG16 wedge looks very similar to the CG14 wedge but without the insert and it is not surprising given that it comes from the same mould. However the colour insert has been replaced with a cavity back and this not only looks better but also improves stability and forgiveness on off-centre hits.

The Cleveland CG16 golf clubs for sale offers the playability and forgiveness of an iron, with the spin control of a wedge. In contrast to the Cleveland CG16 Irons that combine wedge technology into irons, the CG16 wedges now sport a cavity back design and a deeper, hollow cavity.

The cavity back design increases MOI meaning the Cleveland CG16 wedge will offer greater forgiveness, whilst the deeper cavity helps lower the centre of gravity and improves the playability of the club. This technology offers the maximum conforming dimensions within each groove whilst adding four laser-milled texture lines between each groove to increase the ball-to-club friction.

Finally, the Cleveland CG16 wedge features a wide, constant sole design aimed to offer maximum forgiveness and bunker performance while maintaining shot-making versatility.

With respect to the tour, we feel that these are good wedges for aspiring mid handicappers and those who want more forgiveness from a wedge.

Titleist AP2 710 Irons Review

I purchased a set of AP2s with ALDILA VS PROTO-T 75 graphite shafts a month ago. I used a Titleist fitter and spent a couple of mornings hitting shots - highly recommended. I also wanted to be sure that the high, straight shots were not the result of good swings on one particular day.

The new Titleist AP2 710 Irons have been created with the serious golfer in mind. With their classic blade looks, improved feel and playability for excellent shot control, these multi material, dual cavity forged irons use the latest in ground-breaking technology to give golfers the advanced performance, increased distance and exceptional feel that they are crying out for.

The feel and consistency of these clubs was superior to any of the other clubs that I evaluated: Mizuno JPX-800 Pro; Callaway RAZR X Tour and Diablo Forged; and Nike Victory Red Combo. I particularly like the feel of the clubs, with the weight more toward the head. There is reasonable forgiveness on shots struck on the heel or toe, but you do lose some distance. But the feel of well-struck shots is what makes these clubs special.

The new Titleist AP2 710 Forged Irons (golf clubs for sale) offers golfers exactly that. By conducting extensive research on sound and vibration analysis, they have managed to reduce the harsh lower frequency vibrations that causes poor feel in irons. This led them to develop and construct a forged steel iron set that combines several technologies and materials to accomplish the desired results.

I have now had a chance to play about 12 rounds with the clubs, and they continue to impress with their playability and consistency. I have dropped about 5 shots since playing these clubs and truly feel that I can accomplish my goal of dropping my handicap below 10. Impressive clubs even for an "ex"-13 handicap.

These clubs are very good. And they are not very workable, my neighbour with a 2 handicapp has thesmae problem, but other than that, they are a great set of clubs for anyone.

Ping K15 Hybrid at golfsaleshop.com

Ping has launched a new hybrid. It's a set that is designed with traditional mid/short irons. Many golfers hit their hybrids further than their long irons which will add to the appeal of this new set of clubs. On top of this, the distance gap between each club is more optimised and distinct so each club in the iron set is utilised properly, making for a more efficient set.

The Ping K15 hybrid is designed to get the ball into the air easier with less spin for greater distance. In addition, the K15s also feature an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI) due to the large internal toe weight pad for superior forgiveness so even mis-hits travel further.

The Ping K15 hybrids look very similar to the Ping G15 hybrids, but closer inspection reveals that the heads are a little shallower and deeper front to back. The promotes a deeper centre of gravity and combined with a little more offset in the hosel, mean that they are much easier to get up in the air and therefore go a little higher than the G15 version.

The Ping K15 hybrids (golf clubs for sale) share design principles with the award winning G15 hybrid and feature a patent pending technology that exactly positions the centre of gravity relative to the hosel axis and club face. This makes it even easier for golfers to get the ball into the air while reducing the spin for even more distance. A large internal toe weight provides a high MOI that offers supreme forgiveness on miss-hits.

To be honest, I really like this style of hybrid as it looks and behaves more like an iron and therefore the 5 and 6 iron replacements are very playable indeed and it does not feel like you are launching a wood hybrid past your nose. The feel at impact is very good and the different shape of head gives a great zing sound at impact. Used either as standalone hybrids or as part of the K15 irons set then these are excellent clubs for the higher handicapper.

Titleist 910 D2 Driver's Review

Are you looking for more distance, accuracy and control off of the Tee? Then I would recommend taking a moment to learn all about the latest Titleist Driver Technologies with my Titleist 910 D2 Driver Review.

Titleist 910 Drivers deliver total performance with improvements in flight, fit, looks, feel and sound. The 460cc Titleist 910D2 driver delivers longer distance through a technologically advanced head design with a responsive, fast face insert. The patented, innovative, SureFit Tour, dual-angle hosel provides precise, independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control. High performance weighting increases stability and creates a low and deep CG for medium/high launch with medium/low spin.

This dual-angle hosel technology enables you to optimize both the launch trajectory and the shape of your drives. There are other new models out there that offer excellent directional control by using adjustable face angle technology but none seem to offer the opportunity to effectively adjust the launch angle independently.

Otimized Weight Distribution - Titleist golf clubs for sale have also optimized weight distribution by lowering the driver's center of gravity and moving it further back in the clubhead. They have done this through thinning the crown of the cludhead by 17%, and creating a more sloped rear crown profile.

They have also included a new swing weight screw located more towards the back end of the clubhead sole. This helps to create more stability, for better direction control, as there is less clubhead twisting at the moment of impact.
